The Graduate Program linked administratively to the School of Music and Performing Arts of UFG is governed by the General Rules of UFG's Graduate Programs Office, according to resolution No. 1105 - CEPEC and the specific program's regulation, and issues the degree of Master in Music. The Master program main goals are to enable high-level music professionals pursue teaching, artistic and research activities consistent with the needs of our time withal pointing to new directions. Furthermore intends to provide an enviromnment appropriate to develop research and reflection about the artistic production, leading up tools for teachers / artists to improve their academic activities. The Master of Music has financial aid which is granted through criteria stablished by funding agencies (CAPES, CNPQ and FAPEG) and the Program Scholarship Committee.
